The organically-farmed Stermer vineyard really shines in this wine from a difficult vintage. Savory notes surround pretty cherry flavors, creating an elegant, complex and refined Pinot with additional highlights of licorice and black tea. A pat of butter resonates through the lingering finish. This could prove wonderfully ageworthy given its balance, depth and structure.
