Leonard Kreusch 2012 Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Auslese Riesling (Mosel)

Musky floral, spice and cherry-blossom notes meld in the exuberant bouquet of this aromatic auslese. It's blossomy on the palate as well, and luscious, with sweet peach and yellow cherry flavors. It's unabashedly lavish, but balanced by a streak of citrus acidity and a long, lingering finish. Anna Lee C. Iijima
