This medium-sweet blend incorporates unusual white grapes like Faberrebe and Bacchus as well as Riesling and Silvaner. While earthen and smoky upon opening, it's quite candied on the palate, highlighting notes of melon, mango and tangerine. A soft, mouthclinging wine best enjoyed young. Anna Lee C. Iijima
