This is proving to be one of the more distinctive vineyards in the region, set in the De Luz hills to the west of the valley floor. Aromas of charred hickory and cherry wood meet with black cherry juice, roasted meats and campfire aromas on the nose. The palate shows licorice, hoisin, star anise and a slight gamy quality.
