Leoness 2014 Grande Mélange Red (Temecula Valley)

Candied cranberry, red currants, rose petals, bay leaf, oregano and peppercorns converge for a very compelling and interesting nose on this blend of 53% Syrah, 23% Grenache, 12% Mourvèdre and 12% Cinsault. Boysenberry fruit shows on the sip, alongside all of those intriguing herbal spices. Matt Kettmann
