Lepiane 2013 Sisquoc Vineyard Nebbiolo (Santa Barbara County)

Intriguing aromas of rose petals, tangy plum skins, raspberries and rooibos tea come through on the nose of this bottle from a vineyard at the furthest end of the Santa Maria Valley. The palate shows black-tea and cranberry flavors, with tannins that slowly sneak up into the earthy finish. Matt Kettmann
