Leth 2016 Ried Scheiben Roter Veltliner (Wagram)

The scent of ripe, tangy red apple peel sets the appetizing tone for this wine made from an indigenous grape. The palate has a slender but textured, pithy feel, made lively by lemony freshness. An incredibly gastronomic white for those wanting something unusual. The finish is wonderfully dry and tangy with citrus notes. Anne Krebiehl MW
