Leth 2019 Ried Brunnthal Grüner Veltliner (Wagram)

The scent of ripe yellow pear blends with rich, creamy yeast notes on the nose. There is a real pithiness and a slight but pleasant bitterness on the palate that is reminiscent of Russet pear peel. All this is made more vivid and intense by ripe lemon freshness. This is beautiful, textured and concentrated. Anne Krebiehl MW
