Levendi 2008 Stagecoach Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

Cellar Selection

Despite being nearly six years old, the tannins in this wine are still huge and hard. But the beautiful acidity and the incredibly intense fruity concentration suggests this has more time left to evolve in the bottle. It is the essence of black currant, crème de cassis and mineral, focused into a single sip. The wine should start softening around 2018, and continue to evolve well into the 2020s.
