Leaving its primo estate in the Russian River, the producer travels to a similarly minded site in the heart of the Valley of the Moon, planted partially to mixed blacks. Here, 12% mixed blacks make up the whole, offering a bright and juicy explosion of brambly blackberry, smoked cherry and leathery licorice. The finish is soft and spicy.
