Estate grown, this combines 98% Syrah and 2% Grenache into a fist of perfumed violet, lavender and garrigue—the nose both feral and pretty. Black pepper, tar and up-front tannin give it an intensity that persists on the full-bodied palate, accented in meaty complexity.
