A Zinfandel-led field blend from a site planted originally in 1854, this explodes on the palate in graceful, well-integrated layers of blueberry and strawberry, evoking wild versions of both. Bright, complex and structured, it dabbles in baking spice and leathery black pepper, ending in a feral quality of garrigue. Virginie Boone
