Lindemans 1997 Chardonnay (Padthaway)

Lindemans knows how to make crowd-pleasers. Lots of oak over the pineappley tropical fruit. Closes with a full, satisfying finish and tastes similar to (and as good as) many more expensive wines. Its less-expensive Bin 65 Chardonnay is also good, but the Padthaway is somewhat larger-scaled and more complex.
