Like many other ripe Aussie Cabs, this has a pronounced sweetness to it. In the nose, it's much like American Zinfandel, as it shows blueberry aromas. The palate is acidic and juicy, while the finish is tighter, with heavy tannins and a touch of leather. This wine has a somewhat hard feel to it, but it's also very good in terms of power and raw flavor. Michael Schachner
