Although it's labeled Pinot Grigio, this is thousands of miles away from northeastern Italy in style. It's broad in the mouth, marked by pear, melon and spice notes, without the citrusy balance of Italian versions, yet it all works together, with the spice--crushed pepper and ground cinnamon--providing a sense of focus. Lacks a bit of depth, but at this price, who's complaining? Joe Czerwinski
