Lingua Franca 2016 Bunker Hill Chardonnay (Willamette Valley)

This is a thick, even meaty Chardonnay with plenty of power. It rolls through well-integrated scents and flavors of lemon verbena, chervil and both green and yellow apples. The balance is impeccable, and the length and detail promise another eight to 10 years of drinking pleasure. It finishes with a soft hint of butter. Paul Gregutt
