This is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Tannat—both native grapes of the French southwest. Dark in color, it also has a fine perfumed character from the Cabernet in the blend. Ripe blackberries are given weight by the dense tannins and then lifted by the acidity. It is still a young wine with a good future, so drink from 2018.
