Unlike a transluscent soda-style P.G., this one has some gray color and immediately shows richness in the nose. Peach and apricot flavors are clean and supported by butter and vanilla bean. Lime and slate work nicely together on the finish. Overall it's smooth and stylish, and earns its stripes. Pricey by Pinot Grigio standards, but worth it. Michael Schachner
