Livio Felluga 2002 Pinot Grigio (Friuli Venezia Giulia)

Pinot Grigio grape berries aren't actually gray; instead they are tinged with pink or purple. Maybe it is just the power of suggestion, but this wine even seems to taste pink, showcasing ripe berries and apples that are backed by tangy acids and great length. Classy stuff. Joe Czerwinski
