Loimer 2018 Ried Käferberg Grüner Veltliner (Kamptal)

Notes of chalky earth and wet moss immediately lend resonance and wild freshness on nose. On the palate, several elements come alive. At first a bright, zesty notion of citrus and apple peel freshness, then a beautifully textured mouthfeel that is mouthwatering and juicy, followed by gorgous Mirabelle fruit and a savory note reminiscent of peppery, salty miso paste. The finish is an aura of clean, almost luminous freshness. Anne Krebiehl MW
