Rick Longoria chooses a new artist every two years to illustrate this label. This vintage features 40% Cabernet Franc, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Syrah and 18% Merlot, resulting in cranberry, red cherry and dried herbs notes, with a touch of eucalyptus and pine sap. The palate offers woody cedar and juniper flavors along with tart cherry fruit.
A fifth generation Californian originally from San Jose, Matt Kettmann covers California’s Central Coast and South Coast for the magazine.
