Lookout Point 2010 Malbec (Rattlesnake Hills)

Aged in a mixture of American and French oak (30% new), the barrel notes of vanilla, butterscotch and pine are at the fore followed by light green notes. It's medium bodied and well constructed but finishes quite tart. Sean P. Sullivan
