Great Malbec for the money, and one that gives the impression that it's three or four times more expensive than it is. From 40-year-old vines, this is concentrated and complex, with graphite, plum, prune and blackberry aromas. The palate is heavy but correct, and the primary flavors of berry and plum segue into fig and chocolate with ease. Michael Schachner
