Loring Wine Company 2004 Rancho Ontiveros Vineyard Pinot Noir (Santa Maria Valley)

So syrupy sweet and delicious, you almost want to pour this over a cup of vanilla ice cream. It's fabulously rich in cherry compote and milk chocolate, yet dry and backed up by crisp acids. Defines the extreme of a ripe, extracted, somewhat heavy Pinot Noir style, but there's no denying how good it tastes.
