Loring Wine Company 2007 Rancho La Viña Vineyard Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

Here's a youthful Pinot Noir that tastes like it's still in the barrel. It's a bit heavy and very fruity, offering scads of red and black currants, cola, mocha, cedar and spice flavors. Could develop silkiness and complexity in the bottle after 2009.
