Los Azulejos Añejo Tequila NOM 1437 CRT

The initial aroma is stunningly mineral-like; aeration adds scents of rubber tire, cigarette ash and dried tobacco leaf. The palate entry highlights the sweeter side of the agave juice; the midpalate is more layered, offering tastes of minerals, fruit stone, oak, and a trace of mescal-like ashy smoke. Ends on a vegetal/herbal flavor note. P.P.
