Los Cowboys 2009 Malbec (Mendoza)

One look at the name and label and it screams “new concept wine designed for exploding Malbec market,” which doesn't mean it's bad. The nose is rubbery and full of berry fruit, while the palate is high in acid and a touch sharp, leading to sweet-tart berry flavors in front of a simple finish. Good wine but highly regular.
