Made with Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Malvasia, this savory wine has aromas of prune, sweet baking spice, pressed violet, truffle and a whiff of mocha. The chewy palate doles out juicy black cherry, mint, grilled herb, cinnamon, clove and tobacco accompanied by round, ripe tannins. It's already accessible but will also age modestly. Drink through 2020.
