Loubud 2016 Cebada Vineyards Rose of Pinot Noir (Santa Ynez Valley)

This pale pink rosé from an extreme coastal vineyard west of the Sta. Rita Hills shows aggressive citrus aromas, crisp nectarine fruit and noticeable chalkiness. A grippy texture and balanced acidity frame the steely palate, which offers restrained, tightly wound strawberry flavors. Matt Kettmann
