Jacques Lardière, technical wizard of Jadot (and Wine Enthusiast's 2004 Winemaker of the Year), is able to coax every ounce of opulence out of this village wine. Red, verging on black and ripe, fruits and acidity come after initial dryness. And then there is the richness, tempered with elegance. Some premier cru wine has gone into this blend.
