Louis Latour 1998 Les Truffieres (Puligny-Montrachet)

The complex nose boasts hints of toast, vanilla, cinnamon and hazelnuts. But don't think that this is an oak-and-mirrors wine. There's plenty of white stone fruits to back it up, along with a minerally edge. Finishes very long, with recurring notes of toasted nuts. Joe Czerwinski
