Lucien Albrecht 2001 Cuvée Cecile Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Starts with scents of almond and unripe nectarine, then slowly unfurls to reveal flavors of honey and peach. A hint of sweetness makes this easier to drink now, but this cuvee could still use another few years of cellaring to give up the goods. Joe Czerwinski
