Lucien Albrecht 2015 Pfingstberg Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Ripe, juicy yellow pear and honey carry the nose. The palate hits with a touch of sweetness that boosts the ripe pear fruit but, it is countered by zesty lemon and a pleasantly bitter streak of phenolics. The result is a rounded, powerful and concentrated wine. Drink now–2028. Anne Krebiehl MW
