Lucien Albrecht NV Brut (Crémant d'Alsace)

Toasty and yeasty on the nose, and with a pale color and fine bead, at first glance this looks very promising. And truth be told, it is pretty good, just not as good as we'd want it to be. the flavors are nice, offering more toasty elements and a bit of anise, but the mouthfeel is heavy and lacks balancing crispness.
