Opens with roasted fruit notes and an earthy character that qualifies as intriguing. The palate is fresh, wide and healthy, with cassis, blackberry and a hint of rhubarb that adds some edge. Overall this is a solid Cabernet; it finishes long and with coffee and mocha. Drink now into 2010.
