Luis Felipe Edwards 2004 Family Selection Gran Reserva Carmenère (Colchagua Valley)

A heavy wine with savory aromas of leather, animal fur, soy and baked plums. The palate is noticeably salty and dull, while the finish offers some tannic grab along with a touch of chocolate. Limited in its virtues but not offensive. Michael Schachner
