Luis Segundo Correas 2011 Malbec (Mendoza)

Odd and unfamiliar aromas of citrus peel, soapy cleanser and reedy red-berry fruits elicit contemplation, not sensory pleasure. This feels narrow, with astringent tannins. Flavors of herbal tea, red berries and spice are almost like Pinot Noir, while this finishes raw, rubbery and tannic, with herbal notes. Michael Schachner
