Luna 2000 Sangiovese (Napa Valley)

Pretty much as good as California Sangiovese gets, combining Pinot Noir's soft, supple tannins and Merlot's full-bodied fruit. Very ripe and spicy, with black raspberry flavors, it's dry, with crisp acidity. This is a gentle but firm wine that will go well with a wide variety of foods.
