Lundeen 2018 La Cantera Vineyard Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

Fresh blackberry and black cherry fruit stokes the flavors of this young wine. The acidity is sharp and the tannins astringent, with streaks of lemon verbena and green tea. Some of the details from this excellent site that reveal themselves in older vintages are still a bit hidden, so extra aeration and/or bottle age is recommended. This compact wine will reward further aging and close examination. Paul Gregutt
