LXV 2012 Summer Satine Viognier (Paso Robles)

This winery is aimed at the sexy side of wine, and succeeds in this bottling, with restrained aromas of nectarine, gunmetal, flint and strawberry guava. Tart yellow-green flavors of apple, pear and citrus give an edge to the persistent tropicality, which wipes up with a light vanilla finish. Perfect for fish dishes. Matt Kettmann
