Lynmar 2011 Quail Hill Vineyard Summit Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley)

Cellar Selection

This is enormously rich, ripe and appealing, with waves of raspberry and cherry jam, cola, red licorice and smoky sandalwood flavors that are wrapped into gentle tannins. Comes from a block in the estate vineyard, and while it doesn't display dramatic differences from Lynmar's other blocks, it does highlight the structure and sheer opulence of all Quail Hill Pinot Noirs. Drink now–2019.
