M. Chapoutier 2005 Belleruche Blanc White (Côtes du Rhône)

This is a broad, mouthfilling wine that just isn't that expressive from a flavor perspective. There are hints of spice and minerality, including anise tinges, and hints of melon and pineapple fruit. But there's just not that much intensity. More of a textural experience than a flavorful one. Joe Czerwinski
