Wisps of tea leaves and caramelized honey swirl into freshly pressed apple and pear in this complex, elegant Marsanne. While intensely ripe and unctuous in mouthfeel, it's a remarkably pure sip brightened by soft tangerine acidity and a bristling mineral finish. Although enticing young, it should develop more earthen, honeyed complexities over the next decades. Anna Lee C. Iijima
