M. Chapoutier 2016 La Ciboise White (Luberon)

Although this full-bodied, freshly balanced white is initially a touch smoky and earthen, white grapefruit, lemon and lime build on the palate. A blend of Vermentino, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Ugni Blanc and Viognier, it's silky on the palate, lingering with a pleasant grip of tea tannins on the finish. Drink now through 2021. Anna Lee C. Iijima
