Heady notes of vanilla and clove accent crisp lemon and yellow apple flavors in this smoky, spicy white. A full-bodied blend of Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Roussanne and Clairette, it's a lavishly adorned sip partially matured in large-format oak barrels. A wine that needs some time to meld. Best to wait till 2023—it should improve through 2030. Anna Lee C. Iijima
