M. Cosentino 2001 Pinot Noir (Yountville)

Editors' Choice

A fascinating, rich and complex wine. Starts with jazzy Lifesaver flavors and combines them with warmer notes of baked cherry tart and sweet tobacco. It's all well oaked. Silky smooth in the mouth, dry in sugar but ripe in fruity flavor, and finishes with a wonderful edge of Oriental spice and mocha.
