Hints of graphite, dark toast and sweet spice add an interesting dimension to the ripe black-cherry and plum notes on the nose and palate of this Merlot-based blend. The palate is concentrated but crisp in acidity, with hints of fresh herbs and violets. Can drink now, but its bold, tannic structure could evolve pleasantly with cellaring.
