MacPhail 2007 Frattey Shams Vineyard Pinot Noir (Anderson Valley)

Three things mark this Pinot: considerable oak, acidity and fruity ripeness. Offers decadently delicious waves of cherry pie filling, raspberry tart, anise, cinnamon, vanilla and cedar. Needs time for all these elements to meld. Best 2010–2013.
