Full body and very ripe fruit flavors give a lot of impact to this deeply colored and concentrated wine made from the heritage Martini clone and aged in 50% new oak. It packs in the black cherry, blackberry and clove flavors, wrapping them in a firm blanket of fine-grained tannins and good acidity, so that it should improve with age. Best after 2019. Jim Gordon
