Madonna delle Grazie 2001 Selezione (Brunello di Montalcino)

This wine divided our panelists—two who enjoyed it very much, and one less so. The supporters described a creamy and complex wine with cherry, herbs and just the right touch of supporting woodspice. The finish could be longer, but did carry bold berry flavors.
